Website visitors

Like most website operators, Bariatric News collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Bariatric News’ purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Bariatric News’ visitors use its website. From time to time, Bariatric News may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website. Bariatric News offers a newsletter subscription service, which we use to keep you updated about news that appears on the site. Every email we send contains an “unsubscribe” link which allows you to remove your email address from the subscription service.

Part of this new law requires Dendrite Clinical Systems to obtain your consent about holding your personal data (such as your name and email address). Dendrite will NOT pass on your details to a 3rd party. However, Dendrite may occasionally send you emails on behalf of 3rd parties (such as societies and associations and healthcare companies, eg IFSO, ASMBS, Medtronic, WL Gore etc) to help them promote their events, products and services.
