About the Event
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is a great pleasure to invite you to the city of Málaga for the 14th IFSO-EC Congress and 27th SECO Congress, which will take place from May 6 to 8, 2026.
This IFSO-EC Congress will allow us to deepen our knowledge of severe obesity and its treatment options including metabolic bariatric surgery and obesity management medications. Sharing new data, experiences, news on surgical and medical treatments with bariatric surgeons and other specialists, is undoubtedly the key to best advance the optimal treatment for our patients.
The congress will focus on various aspects of the chronic disease of obesity including most recent updates and data on surgical techniques, new pharmacological treatments and how to integrate them into our daily surgical practice, treatment of surgical complications, revision and conversion surgery, robotic surgery, eradication of obesity stigma, and multidisciplinary work of metabolic bariatric surgery and integrated health units.
